Questions, answered

Straight answers about where it runs, what it includes and what it costs.

Where does Drayage Cloud run?

On the desktop, in the browser and on the phone. Dispatch, the rate desk and billing use the desktop app on Windows, Mac or Linux, or open the same app in a browser. Administrators have their own admin app. Drivers use Drayage Cloud Driver on iPhone or Android.

Why a desktop app for dispatch?

Dispatch runs all day with several windows open. A desktop app stays fast with thousands of bookings on screen, keeps its windows where you left them, and never times you out. The browser version is there for the laptop at home or the terminal office.

Is there a driver app?

Yes. Drayage Cloud Driver shows a driver today's trips and each stop in order. One tap records arrived, unloading or delivered; a problem at the gate is reported with a reason; proof of delivery comes back with photos and the signed receipt. Updates are saved on the phone first and sent when there is signal, stamped with the time and place of the tap.

Where is my data stored?

In your own environment, with its own database and credentials. Development, staging and production never share records, and the assistant only ever sees your company's data.

Does it replace my accounting system?

It includes one. Accounting is a full module with a ledger, invoices, bills and settlement, and drayage charges are invoiced through it directly, so the rate on the quote is the rate on the invoice.

Can I bring my existing rates and customers?

Yes. Data Factory loads them from spreadsheets or your current system, on a schedule or on demand. Tell us about your sources when you request a demo and the demo will use them.

How do people sign in?

Office staff sign in with Microsoft Entra ID, so your existing work accounts and policies apply. Drivers sign in from the dispatcher's invitation with a code sent to their email, with no password to forget.

Can I design my own invoices and delivery documents?

Yes. Documents is a designer for the paperwork you print and send: invoices, rate confirmations, delivery receipts and bills of lading. Lay the page out, bind the fields to the record, add barcodes and page numbers, and print to any printer or to PDF.

Is there a map?

Yes. The map shows your ports, terminals, cities, zones and service area over aerial imagery, with low bridges, hazmat routes, truck routes, weigh stations, rail crossings and truck parking as layers you switch on and off, and a street view. Every port, terminal and city record carries its own mini-map.

What does it cost?

Pricing depends on your fleet size and the modules you use. Ask when you request a demo and you will get a straight answer for your operation.
